Ever wondered what happens to your recycling in St Helens? We hope you enjoy our behind-the-scenes video showing you the journey your recycling takes from your home once it's collected to our local recycling facility.

Recycling containers including the black box, blue bag, white bag, green bag and food caddy are collected weekly. Check your collection day.

Please place your containers on the kerbside or at your collection point for 6:30am on your collection day. 

If we are unable to gain access or experience any transport difficulties, we will try to return the same day. Where this is not possible, we will collect the following day. Any missed collections will appear on our collection updates page.

Please be considerate when parking vehicles, as vehicles blocking or obstructing access for our lorries can make it difficult or prevent us from carrying out collections.
