Wraparound Childcare Survey for Families

The purpose of this survey is to collect information about the needs, experience and views of parents and carers regarding wraparound childcare before and after the school day, such as breakfast clubs from 8am or earlier and regular after school provision that runs until 6pm or later.

Modernising of Taxi Licensing Consultation

As part of our ongoing efforts to bring our procedures in line with the Statutory Standards for Taxis and Private Hire Vehicles, the Department for Transport's Best Practice Guidance, and streamline the service we provide, at the meeting of the Licensing & Environmental Protection Committee on 21 February 2024 a report was considered on proposed changes to the Taxi Licensing Service. This is now open to consultation. Please have a look at the documents below and give us your comments, all the areas for which there are proposed changes can be found in the committee report below.

Any responses must be returned to the Licensing Section by midnight on 21 March 2024, either by email to taxilicensing@sthelens.gov.uk, or by post to St Helens Town Hall, Victoria Square, St Helens, WA10 1HP.
