Green bin

This is a fortnightly collection when you subscribe to the service

You can put these items in your green bin:

• Grass cuttings / leaves
• Flowers / plants / weeds
• Privet / hedge clippings
• Small branches and twigs

Please do not put these items in your green bin; it will be contaminated and will not be emptied:

• Cardboard (this goes in your green bag)
• Food waste (this goes in your food caddy)
• Plastic (most plastics go in your white bag, check the link on what goes where)
• Soil (this will have to be disposed of at your local HWRC)
• Hay, straw or pet bedding (this will have to be disposed of at your local HWRC)
