Please note if you are submitting a representation to a planning application, under the terms of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act, representations submitted to the council may be inspected by members of the public. Representations will be published on the council website with personal data redacted, however you should consider whether the content of your representation would make you identifiable. If an application is refused and appealed, you will be notified of the appeal if you have submitted a representation or been notified of the original planning application. The Planning Inspectorate requests that unredacted copies of all representations and a list of addresses (including email addresses) is sent to them and the applicant. Therefore, you should assume that your letter is a public document that cannot be treated confidentially. If you wish to withdraw your objection on this basis please email planning@sthelens.gov.uk quoting the application reference number and name and contact details of your objection.
