Supported Housing Quality and Standards

The Supported Housing Hub works with providers to ensure supported housing across St Helens is safe, suitable and well managed.

This includes both commissioned and non-commissioned supported housing services.

Our Compliance Team provides guidance and oversight relating to:

• Housing standards
• Quality of support
• Governance and compliance
• Value for money
• Alignment with local needs and priorities

Through this work, we help ensure residents receive high-quality accommodation and support that delivers positive outcomes.

The Supported Housing Regulatory Oversight Act 2023 will mean that providers must meet standards set by the government. We will update our website once these become statutory regulations.
