Our Domestic Abuse Strategy

This strategy, while led by St Helens Borough Council, was developed in partnership with agencies across the sectors to ensure that it provides a framework for co-ordinated action to tackle domestic abuse in our area.

Since the introduction of the Domestic Abuse Act 2021, St Helens Domestic Abuse Partnership Board have been required to implement statutory duties with regards to safe accommodation for victims of domestic abuse. A needs assessment has been completed to guide future commissioning of services, which can be found within the below addendum to the above strategy.
