Off-road vehicle nuisance

It is against the law to ride off-road vehicles in public parks or on publicly-owned land without permission from the local authority.

As with unlicensed powered vehicles, these can only be used on private roads or land with the road or land-owner's permission.

Nuisance can be caused by:

  • Off-road vehicles being illegally driven in any public place.
  • By road-registered vehicles being inappropriately driven anywhere other than a legally designated road or highway.
