Borough review for existing parishes
Final Recommendations
Following two public consultations, at its meeting on 17 January 2024 Council approved the Final Recommendations submitted by Community Governance Review Cross-Party Working Group for the seven existing parish councils.

Reorganisation Order
The Community Governance order was sealed on 24 September 2025. The order is available to view below;

What Happens Next?

7 May 2026 | The first elections under any new electoral arrangements. Any changes to or abolition of existing parishes will come into force for the purpose of proceedings relating to the election of councillors in May 2026. |
