All our events are open to pedestrians, train & bus-users, cyclists & drivers, aged 60+, and aim to ensure you are up to date with all the latest laws and regulations, as well as offering great tips from various bodies including Merseyside Police & the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM).  

Over the last 40 years, the number of vehicles on the roads has almost trebled from 12 million to 35 million and in the past decade alone, there's been a 53 percent rise in the number of people aged 60 & over killed or seriously injured on the roads.

On top of this, the number of drivers aged over 70 has risen from 2.2 million to 3.9 million between 1992 & 2012 and is projected to rise to 5.8 million by 2032.
