What is Abuse?

Abuse is any behaviour towards a person that deliberately or unknowingly causes him or her harm, endangers life or violates their rights.

Patterns of abuse vary and can include one off or repeated acts of abuse.  It can be long term and continuous.  Abuse may be intentional or unintentional - to find out more to help raise awareness, or to help decide whether you should tell someone if you do have concerns, please play the short presentation.
