No. Careline is an emergency response service so we cannot assist you with these matters, However, we will contact any family/friends or domiciliary care services that you have nominated for you.
Unfortunately, our staff cannot deal with the ordering, collection or administration of any medication.
After assessing the information you provide when your call is answered, a Careline officer will visit your home and assist you if that is appropriate and you are unhurt. However, should you sustain an injury, the Careline officer will call the emergency services as well as notifying your nominated contacts.
Careline can also offer support to those who fall by referring them to other partnerships agencies who can also offer support and advice.
At the installation of your service we will provide and fit a Keysafe . This will provide quick access to your home and ensure that your situation is dealt with as quickly and efficiently as possible.
The current cost for first-tier service is (2018-2019):
This covers the monitoring and response service and a standard package of equipment, consisting of a Lifeline Emergency Unit and a pendant. This gives you 24-hour, 365-day peace of mind knowing that there is someone on hand to give you assistance in an emergency.
