There are over 40 recycling bring bank sites throughout the Borough that St Helens Borough Council are responsible for. Most of these are at supermarkets, social clubs, pubs and community centres.
To find your local site go to the Recycle Now website and enter your postcode.
Many of the sites take paper/magazines, glass, clothes and shoes.
Merseyside Recycling and Waste Authority operates the Household Waste Recycling Centres in the Borough.
You will need a permit if you are planning to access our Household Waste Recycling Centres in a van, flatbed or trailer (between 2-3 metres long).
Permits are free and you can apply for a permit via the Merseyside Recycling & Waste Authority website or call 0151 236 0305.
