Childcare Sufficiency Assessment

learning and schooling written on a black board

The Childcare Sufficiency Assessment reports on the available childcare available within St.Helens against the current and projected demand.

  • it measures the amount of childcare we have in St Helens (supply)
  • it sets out how much childcare is needed (demand)
  • it matches supply to demand and works out where we might have gaps

Information contained in the Childcare Sufficiency Assessment is gathered from providers that we know operate within St.Helens Borough and whose details are included in the online directory. If you deliver childcare within St.Helens and are not already registered on the family Information Service Directory then please contact us.

The latest St Helens Childcare Sufficiency Assessment relates to the 2016/17 academic year and can be downloaded from the Related Documents section at the bottom of this page.
