Public Health Annual Report

Every year, the Director of Public Health publishes an annual report sharing some of the work the department has undertaken to help improve the health and wellbeing of people in St Helens. The theme of the latest report is how public health is contributing towards achieving the objectives for the borough, while celebrating St Helens’ 150th anniversary, which took place in 2018. The report also covers key public health-related milestones over the last 150 years.

You can also view the annual report for 2016/17. The 2016/17 report focuses on alcohol, with local people telling their real-life stories about their experiences and relationships with alcohol. The report also highlights the work of local services and the support they offer to people experiencing alcohol problems, as well as the impact and harm that alcohol can cause.
