A public local inquiry into this matter was held on Tuesday 12 July 2016 at St Helens Town Hall. The Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government has confirmed the above Compulsory Purchase Order.
The council made a General Vesting Declaration (GVD) on 10 February 2017 - this can be downloaded below. In simple terms, the GVD gave notice that, from 1 April 2017, the council would take ownership of the land that was subject to the CPO and the council would have the right to enter the land and take possession of it.
The official notice confirming the CPO is also available below, along with the confirmation letter, the inspector's report, the confirmed order and the confirmed order map. Further documents relating the CPO inquiry are available below that.
