A public local inquiry into this matter was held on Tuesday 12 July 2016 at St. Helens Town Hall. The Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government has confirmed the above Compulsory Purchase Order.
The Council has made a General Vesting Declaration (GVD) on 10th February 2017 - this can be downloaded below. In simple terms, the GVD gives notice that from 1st April 2017 the Council will take ownership of the land that was subject to the CPO and the Council will have the right to enter the land and take possession of it.
