Residents encouraged to have their say on regeneration plans

Residents and groups across St Helens are being encouraged to have their say on once in a lifetime regeneration plans for St Helens and Earlestown town centres.

St Helens Borough Council in partnership with The English Cities Fund (ECF) are bringing forward ambitious plans to transform St Helens and Earlestown town centres in a regeneration project that is set to span the next 20 years, with the first phase of delivery due in winter 2025.  

To give as many people a say in these developments as possible the council are running a number of focus groups and pop in events across the borough. 

An online focus group for people aged 60+ who have used St Helens or Earlestown town centres is taking place on Friday 26th November 1.30pm - 3.30pm.  You can register your FREE place now at https://sthelens-earlestown-town-centre-masterplans-over60.eventbrite.co.uk 

If you have a disability, or care for someone who does, you can give your views on accessibility in both St Helens and Earlestown town centres by joining an online focus group on Tuesday 30th November 10am - 12 noon.  You can register your FREE place now at https://st-helens-earlestown-masterplans-disability-groups.eventbrite.co.uk 

A focus group is also being held involving young people in the future of St Helens and Earlestown town centres.  If you are aged 14-18 years, an online focus group is being held on Wednesday 8th December 6pm – 8pm.  You can register you FREE place now at https://young-people-sthelens-earlestown-masterplans.eventbrite.co.uk 

In addition, a focus group aimed at those aged 60+ is taking place on Wednesday 1st December 11.30am – 2pm at the Nine Arches, Earlestown.  This is a FREE event and no booking is required.
