Councillor Derek Long appointed new St Helens Council Leader

St Helens Council has appointed Councillor Derek Long as the new Council Leader following Barrie Grunewald’s resignation.
Councillor Long (pictured), who represents the West Park ward, will start the position with immediate effect after council unanimously agreed the decision at a full council meeting on Wednesday.
