Results for the whole borough are as follows:

Roger Bannister (Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition) – 786
Paul Breen (Get The Coppers Off The Jury) – 83
Tony Caldeira (The Conservative Party) – 8,293
Carl Cashman (Liberal Democrats) – 2,299
Tom Crone (Green Party) – 1,961
Tabitha Morton (Women’s Equality Party) – 443
Steve Rotheram (Labour Party) – 15,643
Paula Walters (UK Independence Party) – 1,683

Total ballots: 31,462
Total electorate: 137,336
Turnout: 22.9 per cent
