Article date - 12 January 2017

Hold onto your socks and enjoy stand-up comedy for the whole family with James Campbell, founder of Comedy 4 Kids and author of Boyface, as seen on CBBC’s Blue Peter.

Making fun of everything from couscous and penguins to Nintendo Wii, James' jokes are written and performed to get children and parents laughing out loud.

It’s a stand-up show for children over six, their parents and anyone who likes comedy without the rude words.

The show called ‘The Funny Thing About…’ is brought to St Helens Central Library at 4pm on Friday 20 January.

It features as part of the National Lottery Award-winning, Arts Council England-funded Cultural Hubs arts-in-libraries programme.

Tickets cost £3 or £8 for a family or group of four. Book online or call into any St Helens library to purchase tickets.
