Article date - 23 February 2017

Got something old in your attic that might be worth a small fortune or you'd like to know more about? Blow off the cobwebs and bring it along to St Mary’s Market this Saturday (25 February) for a free valuation and discover the age and history behind your treasured item(s).
Collector's fair

As part of the St Helens Antiques and Collectors Fair, held on the last Saturday of every month, Peter Critchley, from Warrington Auctions who has featured as an auctioneer on ‘Bargain Hunt,’ will be down at St Mary’s Market to give free valuations to visitors who then have the opportunity to put their antiques or collectables forward for sale at the next Warrington Auctions sales day.

Visitors to the St Helens Antiques and Collectors Fair will also find items such as books, breweriana, ceramics, coins, comics, ephemera, furniture, glassware, horology, jewellery, militaria, musical instruments, postcards, sports memorabilia, railwayana, stamps, toys, vinyl records and much more, for sale - sold by an array of friendly and very knowledgeable traders who will be more than willing to give you advice.

The Fair takes place at the events space within St Mary’s Market from 9:30am – 3:30pm, with an admission fee of £1 per person.

Free parking and Wi-Fi is available to visitors, as well as food and drinks discounts from the market café when an entrance ticket is shown.
