The market will open 9am-4pm every Sunday (apart from 27 August) and features a wide range of stalls offering a whole range of quality goods at great prices, including food, clothes, furniture, plants, crafts, household goods and much more.

Children's entertainment and food and drink outlets will also feature. Entry and parking are both free.

Paul Martin (pictured right), Sunday Market operator said: “This will be a great weekly market at the beautiful Haydock Park Racecourse. We have a fantastic range of stalls providing something for everyone, including a small funfair for the children. The racecourse is very well situated between St Helens, Wigan, Warrington, Liverpool and Manchester and provides visitors with quality facilities.

“I am hugely delighted to have acquired this stunning location for our events and have been inundated with requests from traders from across the North West and beyond. I look forward to welcoming everyone and see this market as one of the biggest in the North West.

“We have quickly established a great working relationship with Haydock Park Racecourse and have received a huge amount of support from St Helens Council to bring this large event to the borough.”

Jason Fildes (pictured left), General Manager at Haydock Park Racecourse said: “We are delighted to be working with Paul Martin who will be hosting this large Sunday Market at our venue and look forward to the thousands of visitors it will bring to our racecourse.”

The market will be closed on Sunday 27 August due to existing venue booking but will return each Sunday thereafter.
