Fees and Charges

**Selected St Helens libraries will reopen to the public on Monday 27 July as part of a phased return, with a number of measures in place to keep visitors and staff safe.

Returning and borrowing books and other items will be possible, however, computer access, printing, photocopying, newspapers and magazines will be out of service for a temporary period.

St Helens Archives will also be open from Monday 27 July (bookings must be made in advance of your visit).**

Reservation and Request charges

You can reserve any item we stock and collect it at any St Helens library when it becomes available. You can also request any book we do not stock

Replacement Library Cards

For adults aged over 18 there is a charge of £4.00 for a replacement library card.

Please note: you must show your library card every time you borrow, renew or reserve items. Items cannot be taken without your card, nor can we give you a temporary library card.

When renewing items over the telephone, you may be asked to give your name and library card number.
