Youth Sports Programme

10-24 Participation

Our Youth Sports Programme works with large numbers of young people aged 10-24 to increase participation in sport and physical activity. A vibrant and varied offer runs on a weekly basis and is free to attend, unless stated.

Social Media

You can now follow our Youth Sports Programme via social media: Facebook – YouthSportsSTH / Twitter – @YouthSportsSTH / Instagram – YouthSportsSTH. Every week we have sessions at various locations and equipment is provided – all you need to do is turn up and give it a go!

For more information on all Youth Sport sessions, contact Mark Jennings on 07768 414970 or email us.

Important update: COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic (23 March 2020)

Due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis, unfortunately we will no longer be able to deliver face-to-face sport or fitness classes. As a result, all sessions and events advertised are temporarily suspended.

However, we understand the huge health implications of becoming isolated and, as such, we will be  giving out ideas on our social media pages to support your health and well being. These can be found on our Facebook and Twitter pages so follow us on @YouthSportsSTH

If you are a local sports club, we are still here to support you! Get in touch with your usual contact, or you can email sportsdevelopment@sthelens.gov.uk

Take care, stay well and we hope to see you again soon. Best wishes from all of us at Sports Development.

You can find more ideas by visiting Sport England's website or visit NHS UK for official information on coronavirus (COVID-19).

***All Youth Sports Sessions Postponed***

Due to advice from Public Health England, we are postponing all Youth Sports sessions until further notice.
Once we have been advised that it is safe to do so we will start our sessions again, so stay safe and healthy.
