Section 70 Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976

Proposed Changes to Fees for Driver, Vehicle and Operator Licences From 1 April 2017

Notice is hereby given under Section 70 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976 that St.Helens Council proposes to amend the fees and charges for Hackney Carriage Licences, Private Hire Vehicle Licences and Private Hire Operators Licences as detailed in this document.

The Marriage and Civil Partnerships (Approved Premises) Regulations 2005, As Amended

St Helens Council being the authority for the purpose of the above legislation, hereby gives notice that an application has been made by St Helens Registration Service, Central Street, St Helens, Merseyside, WA10 1UJ being the Proprietor of premises situated at and known as Signature Rooms, St Helens Registration Service, Central Street, St Helens, Merseyside, WA10 1UJ for the approval to use the premises for the solemnization of marriages and the registration of civil partnerships in pursuance of the Marriage Act 1949 and the Civil Partnerships Act 2004.

The application together with a plan of the premises which accompanied it may be inspected at the Licensing Unit, Wesley House, Corporation Street, St Helens, WA10 1HF between the hours of 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday.

Any person may give notice of any objection to the grant of approval to the application with reasons for the objection in writing to be received within 21 days from the date of the application appearing on the Councils website.

Any objection should be sent to the Licensing and Land Charges Manager, Wesley House, Corporation Street, WA10 1HF or by email.

St Helens Council being the authority for the purpose of the above legislation, hereby gives notice that an application has been made by Stephen Mckie being the proprietor of premises situated at and known as Blundells Hill Golf Club Ltd, Blundells Lane, Rainhill, L35 6NA for the approval to use the premises for the solemnization of marriages and the registration of civil partnerships in pursuance of the Marriage Act 1949 and the Civil Partnerships Act 2004.
