Any exhibition, demonstration or performance of hypnotism (as defined in the Hypnotism Act 1952) requires the express written consent of the Council as licensing authority.
The Application Process
- Your application must be submitted no less than 28 days prior to the date on which the 'display' is scheduled to take place.
- An administration fee of £20 is payable.
- A copy your current public liability insurance should accompany your application for each event you carry out.
