Thatto Heath Library re-opened to the public on Friday 3rd February 2012 after a major refurbishment. The library has been transformed with new furniture, lighting, carpets and many brand new books.
In addition there are 17 PCs and 12 Macs with a dedicated learning area where computer courses will take place.
For children there are five Fizz Book Spin laptop computers and a Nintendo Wii games console. There’s also a chance for youngsters to meet Spot The Dog for a special storytime in the library - on Tuesday 21 February at 2pm.
Thatto Heath iHub
The Community Room is a space for teenagers to use within the Library building - we call it the iHub.
It has 10 Apple Mac computers an xBox Kinect and two 50" screens as well as a relaxation area and study space.
