St Helens is an excellent location to live, lying midway between the commercial and cultural hubs of Manchester and Liverpool. It enjoys excellent connectivity thanks to its major road links via the M6, M62 and A580. It also provides easy access to Liverpool and Manchester airports, for international destinations. The Borough enjoys significant countryside and greenspace and is in fact predominantly rural (53%).
