Whether you are a parent looking for childcare, a young person looking for something to do or you need some advice and support with bringing up your child, we can either help you or, if not, tell you who can!

Childcare Choices
We have information about the different Childcare Choices in St Helens, such as:
We can tell you what they offer, when they are open, and where to find them. We hold information about what they charge and whether or not they offer free early education places. We can also tell you what to look for when choosing childcare, so that you know they are safe.
Childcare Brokerage
If you are having trouble finding the childcare that you need we may be able to offer more help depending on your circumstances.
Financial Help
We can provide you with information about the financial help that you may be entitled to, whether you are:
- a parent with a pre-school or school aged child
- expecting a baby
- a lone parent
- a student
- a teenage parent
- caring for a sick or disabled child

Children’s Centres
We can provide information about your local children’s centre and the kinds of activities and family support that they offer.
Activities & Support
We hold lots of information about activities for children and young people of all ages to do, from parent and toddler groups to karate lessons to youth clubs. We also have information about services that are available to help you to bring up your child, such as details about baby clinics and advice about starting school.
