The Environment Agency are responsible for making people aware of flooding from rivers and the sea, providing flood warning services and building and maintaining flood defences.

Flood Warning Service

The Environment Agency offer different flood warning services depending upon where you live. They offer a free 24 hour Floodline Warnings Direct service, which allows you to receive warnings by phone, text, email, fax or pager.
