Youth Open Art Competition 2014

The Youth Open Art Competition 2014 is now open!

A competition aimed at showcasing the brilliant talents of younger artists aged up to 16 who live, work or study in St.Helens.
The World of Glass, St.Helens Council Arts Service and St.Augustine of Canterbury Catholic High School are inviting all young artists to submit an original artwork for selection for exhibition and prize.

Works are welcomed in all media including:

  • drawing
  • glass
  • textiles
  • sculpture
  • painting
  • printmaking
  • mixed media
  • photography
  • digital media

SUBMISSIONS
Artwork submissions will be accepted at St.Augustine on the dates below:

Monday 24th February - Friday 7th March
9.00am - 4.00pm

Art Galleries

The borough's art galleries are based within the World of Glass and include The Godfrey Pilkington Art Gallery, Ground Floor Gallery One and Level One Gallery.

The Godfrey Pilkington Art Gallery is supported by St.Helens Council and The Rainford Trust.

Entrance is FREE to all the galleries.
