The St.Helens Building Control team has a vast amount of plan checking and site experience between its Building Control Surveyors.  We also have a good blend of youth and experience among the inspectors.  Each inspector works in their own area of the borough, so each has a wealth of local knowledge and can advise on any aspect of the application.  This section deals with varying types of application, from domestic extensions and alterations to multi million pound commercial projects.

We also have a dedicated Technical Support Team, who can offer advice on your Building Regulation application.  They can advise you as to whether the work you are thinking of carrying out requires permission, the fees that may be involved or any other aspect of Building Control.
